MatchPad ("the app") is developed and maintained by Andre Breedekamp ("I", "me", or "my"). This privacy policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
MatchPad does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers or third parties. All data created within the app — including player names, match scores, tournament results, and match history — is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to me or anyone else.
When using subscription features, purchase transactions are processed by Google Play. If Adapty (our subscription management provider) is enabled, anonymised device identifiers and purchase receipts may be shared with Adapty solely to verify and manage your subscription. No personally identifiable information is shared with Adapty.

No data is transmitted externally via Bluetooth. All communication is local between your devices.
MatchPad uses your device's text-to-speech and audio output to announce scores during matches. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
MatchPad requests access to your device's images solely to allow you to set an optional profile photo for players in the Player Registry. This image is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded or shared.
MatchPad uses an internet connection solely to:

All app data is stored locally in the app's private storage on your Android device. This data is removed when you uninstall the app.
MatchPad is intended for users aged 18 and over. The app does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
When using the multi-court scoring feature, match scores are transmitted directly between devices over a local Bluetooth connection or local Wi-Fi network. This data does not leave your local environment and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.
MatchPad may use the following third-party service:
Adapty — used for subscription management. When active, Adapty may collect anonymised device identifiers and purchase receipt data to verify your subscription status. Adapty does not receive your name, player data, or match history. For more information, see Adapty's Privacy Policy.
